Ronald Paul Dankmyer

Of Penn Hills, peacefully passed away on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.  Beloved husband to Debbie (Ford) Dankmyer.    Son of the late Richard and Dorothy (Krachala) Dankmyer.  Brother to Richard A. Dankmyer (Tracy), and the late Debra Fritz (Nick surviving). Son-in-Law to Don and Marlene Ford. Brother- in-law to Diane Olshavsky (Greg), Patty O’Leary (Dave), and Rick Ford (Sheryl). Survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, along with his faithful companion Daisy Mae.

Ron also leaves behind the many friends he made at Medrad and Bayer where he worked over 20 years.  He will especially miss the life-long friends he made with the Venango Boys.

“Two Glove Ronnie” was an avid golfer and member of the Inn the Ruff golf league.  He also enjoyed reading, loved music and recently became a member of the YMCA where he participated in water aerobics.

Family and friends will be received on Friday, April 5, 2024, from 2-8 pm at the Findlay C. Wylie Funeral Home, Inc., 11311 Frankstown Road.

Blessing Service held 10 am on Saturday at the funeral home.

Interment to follow Blessing Service at Hebron Cemetery.
